I imagine them to kind of be that class that is good at healing and making barriers; they're more flight then fights. They're like Chameleons (that just goes along with the awesome opalescent skin ^_^), so I like the idea of only straight hair: I'm thinking only black and MAYBE some with white hair, but only as often as Red hair does in real life: it's not common except in different areas of their planet, maybe. As for the empty eyes, I have a cool idea: instead of an iris and a pupil, they have kind of a combination of the two, all of one color (pastel colors specifically; that's really their only pigmentation that isn't black or white, ya kind of have to be able to see where they're looking or else they're just horrifying 0.0 lol). I also had some ideas for two vary separate cultures: a rather futuristic utopia kind of thing and a vary primitive tribal sort of society. I don't know how to get them on the same planet though without one obliterating the other.

Oh, I can work all that out :P

O.K., how about a compromise on the eyes? Their pupils and whatnot only show up under a UV light :P I just really really like the idea of the empty eyes and it's totally normal in their culture but it makes everyone else freak the hell out :D (except for Hunter, who will still try to bone one of them. You know, for science).

O.K., so here's the system. As we established, they were originally genetically engineered by the [[Ancients]]. So the advanced future society has a little bit of technology left over from way back: specifically, they have a [[Road]]. The only address they know is for another Road on the far side of their planet.

The catch here is they do not know that the Road is a transportation device, and actually think it just destroys whatever goes through it. So they've been using it to execute people. But since the process appears to be painless, their culture has adapted around the idea that "capitol punishment is A-OK!", and so at times quite a few people have been executed (like they might execute you for having the wrong political views :P). Anyway, the other side of the portal is A) on the far side of the planet and 2) leads out into the middle of a dense, brutal jungle. To further complicate matters, everyone who's ever been chucked through it believes they are dead and in hell :P
