The nature and mode of celebration for the holiday has changed over the course of the [[Ages]], but most typically takes the form of some kind of festival. Schools usually celebrate in the form of a &#039;Winter Festival&#039; while many street fairs are held, weather permitting.<br /> <br /> ==Origin==<br /> The holiday owes its roots to [[Emily]], the 5th [[Pendragon]] of [[Slayer Dragons]] who kept ravens as pets throughout her life. The exact date of Raven&#039;s Day wasn&#039;t fixed until sometime after her death, but she held a feast each year in honor of her pets called &#039;The Raven&#039;s Banquet&#039; to which being invited was seen as a great honor.
