A Kraken is one of the species of Mystical Creatures in the Course Books.
Description
A Kraken is essentially a gigantic marine cephalopod: not a giant squid (Architeuthis) exactly, but similar. It is also intelligent, and capable (in some cases) of speech. They are territorial, and can destroy anything they encounter, except whales. Their only natural predator is the Physeter macrocephalous, or sperm-whale.
