The Raphanados is a carnivorous ostrich-like creature found on Nylar Seven. It was genetically engineered to be the largest apex-predator and is the largest land-animal on Nylar Seven, reaching heights of up to eight feet. When frightened, the Raphanados will shove its head in the nearest patch of sand it can find.
Raphanadoses are a popular in-joke amongst terraformers and bio-engineers.
