Duncurt is a major shipping hub on the edge of Joint Space and is the primary economic link between the Gudersnipe Foundation and the Alliance. It is one of 7 such centers and has almost 15% of goods produced by the Foundation and sold to Alliance member worlds pass through it.
It is the site of a large GATE hub along with several orbital habitates and two inhabited planets. Most of the ships that pass through the system pause to resupply, and it is a central axis for the movement of goods.
