Stop-light barrier

The speed at which light appears, to the observer, to "stop". In much the same way as two automobiles traveling down the highway at the same velocity, to an observer in one vehicle, the other will appear not to be moving. Generally important in starship parlance as the point at which a craft crosses from sublight to FTL.
