Mount Theka is an important tourist and wilderness destination in Sindall. Located along the River Elb, Theka is home to dozens of resort towns and attractions, drawing in visitors from all over the known worlds. No one place (outside perhaps Arindell) offers quite so many opportunities for recreation.

Attractions

Being on the edge of Sindall and home to many Sindallese, every village sports a great many shops featuring art and handicrafts. Rich decoration can be found everywhere, and while much is a show for the tourists, it does definitely have the classic Sindallese culture. Food, art, and music festivals can be found every weekend.

The mountain itself is a hotspot for hikers and trekkers, and in the winter offers downhill skiing. At 10,041 feet high, Theka is the tallest mountain for hundreds of miles. A well-maintained paved road offers access to a resort at about 8,000 feet, which can be accessed in winter via cable car. Walking trails as well as a carved tunnel provide access to the summit, which includes a scene overlook. Because Theka is the only mountain for quite some distance, on a clear day it's possible to see for over 300 miles.

Theka is also home to a very important archaeological site and museum.
